30A vs. Destin

30A and Destin are the two anchors of South Walton and Okaloosa's condo markets, but they read very differently. 30A is a string of small, design-controlled beach towns — Rosemary, Alys, Seaside, WaterColor, WaterSound — where buildings are low-rise, architecturally restrained, and priced for walk-to-sand scarcity. Destin is a working resort city with high-rise Gulf-front towers, deep-water harbor inventory, and a much larger pool of rental-program buildings. The table below contrasts catalog size, Gulf-front share, year-built range, and price-band coverage so buyers can frame which market actually fits their use case.
